Metropolis Music has donated £1,305 from its October guest list funds to Plan B’s charity, Each One Teach One.
EOTO was picked from a large number of charities to benefit from the guestlist initiative, including the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Each One Teach One (EOTO) was set up in 2012 by musician/actor/director Ben Drew (Plan B) to improve the lives of marginalised young people. Fundamentally, we support and develop entrepreneurial and inspirational groups to share their skills with disenfranchised young people.
EOTO’s Director, Sarah McLoughlin says: “It’s fantastic to get so much backing from the music industry. The Metropolis Music donations will make such a genuine impact on the lives of the young people involved with our projects.”
Petra Smith from Metropolis Music says of the partnership: “The guest list donation scheme is a great opportunity to give something back from our events. The charities on our roster have been chosen by the staff at Metropolis Music as they have a direct link to people within our business.”
Metropolis Music was founded in 1985 and is recognised as one of the country’s leading independent concert promotion companies. Find out more here: https://twitter.com/MetropolisMusic
